Ms. Ibshar Ishrat

1. About

Ms. Ibshar Ishrat has been teaching at NED University since 2018. Currently, she is pursuing her PhD under the supervision of Dr. Muhammad Asad Arfeen. She is also serving as the Departmental Website Content Manager since 2019.

2. Education and Certification

  • B.E.(CS) from NEDUET

3. Honors and Awards

  • Presented Final Year Project "Smart Door Lock System with Automation and Security" in ICCIS (International Conference on Computing and Information Sciences) 2016, held at PAFKIET, Karachi.
  • Received Awards of Academic Excellence by the Ambassador of Pakistan in KSA for Matric and Intermediate Results.

4. Research Activity

She is interested to do research work in the area of Queueing Theory and Simulation Modeling. In M.Engg Thesis, she worked on the Applicability of Variance Reduction Techniques in a Retrial M/M/1/K queue. Currently, she is planning to work on Simulation of Rare Events using Sequential Methods.
